Hands Out
04:38
|

I said daddy put the gun down
I know I’m sick, but I’ll be just fine.
He said son I’ll put you out of your misery,
All in all it’s just a matter of time.
He said son I love you know it kills me to
Stand aside and watch you dying.
Breathing in, close my eyes,
But I can hear him loading the gun.
Hole in the wall, hands are shakin’,
Warm sweat, so I know I’m still alive.
With our backs to the wall, we slid down holding hands,
Only god knows why we’ve burst in laugh.
He said you’re nothing but a sick dying body,
No, you’re not my son.
Breathing in, close my eyes,
But I can hear him loading the gun.
Now the wall is dirty dirty
With a big stain of daddy’s brain.
And for a second there I thought
It was me whose spared with all the mourn and pain.
Now there are many things
I don’t know about my daddy,
But as for his last words I have no doubt.
He said son, do me a favor, will ya?
Bury me with my hands out.
Now the Doctors don’t understand,
All of these years and I survive.
But it is clear to me as the deep blue sea,
What keeps me alive.
Every sunrise I go to the cemetery,
And as he hears me coming
He lends his hands to me.
Breathing in, hold his hand
And there’s a brand new day to live.
Daddy you didn’t die in vain,
I want you to know,
When god will come my route.
Next to you, I’ll be burried,
Next to you, with my hands out.

A bullet in her head
But living is on her mind
He doesn’t get to say
Whether yet my time
Has come
Not him not anyone
Blood is on her dress
But they’re just stains of wine
He doesn’t get to say
Whether yet my time
She crawls and calls 911
Red lights are flashing all around
Seem like salvation signs
The medics are stunned
She remains calm
He wouldn’t let her leave
No she doesn’t have to run away
Just when hope began to fray
Freedom has eased away the pain
Now he’s to wear the ball and chain
And when you realize
For the very first time
Every time you open your eyes
Ain’t it just what it’s all about?
And when light fills up the skies
For the very first time
Every time the sun rise
Ain’t it just what it’s all about?
Her family sinks in grief
As the doctor lays his brief
You won’t have short term memory
For as long as you live
That’s fine
All I every wished for were the long term ones
Anyways, that’s fine fine fine
It has just slipped
Out of my mind
And when you realize
For the very first time
Every time you open your eyes
Ain’t it just what it’s all about?
And when light fills up the skies
For the very first time
Every time the sun rise
Ain’t it just what it’s all about?
It’s beyond dangerous and wild
To try and have this child
You’ll keep forgetting that
He’s even alive
Besides,
You’ve been through much
You might not survive
But you could see on her wicked smile
She hasn’t come here to decide
And doctor won’t you certify
That when you realize
For the very first time
Every time you open your eyes
Ain’t it just what it’s all about?
And when light fills up the skies
For the very first time
Every time the sun rise
Ain’t it just what it’s all about?

Sitting near my fireplace
Four walls around me
And a roof over my head.
Seems like my shelter
Has lost it’s grace
Cause I’ve been shivering
And lord knows that I’ve been scared.
Well soon I’ll be turning blue,
Unless you’ll be safe and sound too.
Drinking wine from my golden cup
And my silver plates contain
More than I could ever eat.
Still ain’t nothing seems
To fill me up,
Our will to survive
I far exceeded by our passion to slit.
There ain’t no taste and there ain’t no point of view,
Unless you will have your fair share too.
At day the sun is upon my face
And at night the moon shines
Along with the stars
In the wild I can source
them trees embrace
And I can endorse
all them sins and all them scars.
But soon we move to "mars avenue",
Unless you can stand your ground too.
I hear laughter down the road
And I feel your love mama
Like a spark on my bones
Still the sweetest tales
Are the ones you are told
So do you think you can tell
An ovation from scorn?
But mama I was destined and born to whisper the Blues
Unless you can scream your heart too.
Woke up to a world of empty streets
An oval book of blank endless sheets
But the tale wouldn’t tell whether I exist?
Can I rest, can I eat,
Can I roam and can i breed?
There’s no one out there it’s true
Unless you know that makes the two of you.

Clouds

Clouds are here again
Knocking on my window pane
There’s nothing left to say
Nobody’s home
It used to be so plain
To go out playing in the rain
But time will also say
This kid is gone
Charlie used to ride
On every single cloud
But lately skies have been
So clear and blue
Yes he would make some extra change
From Charlie and the clouds of rain
But mama wants him to find a job or two
I asked him one day
How he came up with the way
To ride those heavy clouds of rain
He said don’t try to hold on tight
Just smile and know it might
Clear up, sun will shine again
Clouds are gone
Nobody’s home
Charlie’s alone
This kid is gone
Clouds are here again
Knocking on my window pane
But something tells me
They’re not here stay
It used to be so plain
To go out playing in the rain
But all I want to do is lay in bed with you

Gypsy Birds
04:33
|

I wanna fly
With gypsy birds
For gypsy birds
Don’t know where they are going
I wanna fly
With gypsy birds
For gypsy birds
Know where the water is flowing
For the hearts that have grown dry
For the hearts that have grown shy
Yeah, and cold
For the hearts that are lost and sold
For the hearts who fear to grow old
All my friends
They go to the university
Cause all my friends
Know where they are going
All my friends
They go to the university
Cause all my friends
Are done roaming
So they wake up every morning
On the same side of the bed
Throw their solid led
Feet on the ground
Rapped in sweet release
That they’ve been found
And they teach them that birds have wings
And humans they don’t have wings
And so to think and how to think
Of big machines
Like airplanes
Airplanes always make me think
That humans they don’t have wings
I wanna fly
With gypsy birds
For gypsy birds
Don’t know where I’m going
They don’t care
They are gypsy birds
All they know is where the water is flowing
For the hearts that have grown dry
For the hearts that have grown shy
Yeah, and cold
For the hearts that are lost and sold
For the hearts who fear to grow old
Old and vain

Reality
02:32
|

I wanna be
On a Reality
Cause virtuality
Is fake.
I can play the part
Of the easy going fart
You don’t have to be smart
It’s a piece o’ cake.
I wanna be
On a Reality
Cause Immortality
Is dead.
Show them I am weak
And I don’t even blink
When I’m so human slick
And devil red.
Praise the lord
We are gold
Can’t you feel?
We are real, real, real.
I wanna be
On a Reality
Cause sexuality
Is bare.
So take off layer after layer
And let everyone stare
Till there’s absolutely
nothing left to share.
Praise the lord
We are gold
Can’t you feel?
We are real, real, real.
Pa, pa, pa…
I wanna be
On a Reality
Cause personality
Is flat.
Praise the lord
We are gold
Can’t you feel?
We are real, real, real.
